The Donald McGill Museum is housed within the Museum of Ryde, and entry to both is included in the admission ticket so allow plenty of time for your visit, there’s so much to see!!!
We are 3 minutes walk from Ryde Esplanade Station and 7 minutes walk from the Hovercraft Terminus. The Isle of Wight is a favourite holiday resort, easily accessed by frequent train (buy a ticket to Ryde Esplanade and it will include the ferry!) 2.5 hours from Waterloo.
You can catch the Hovercraft from Southsea or Car ferry from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington. The crossing takes between 10 and 45 minutes depending on the chosen service port.
